Maria Elizabeth Bullitschek (B4) was born 05 May 1769 in Lititz, Lancaster Co., PA. The Lititz Church Book records, "Br. and Sr. Joseph Bullitschek's second little daughter and fourth child was born on Friday the 5th of May in the morning at a quarter of 5 and the same day in the evening about 7 o'clock, baptized by Br. Grube into Jesus's death. Sponsors were Samuel and Margaretha Foekel/Fockel and the Single Sister Catherina Volck/Hoeck." Maria Elizabeth was admitted to the Moravian Society in Bethania, NC. in 1786.

She married William Francis (B4/H/, born __ ___ 1772 in __________ Co., NC., son of __________ and _________ (________) Francis) on 20 Dec 1798 in Stokes Co., NC. Bondsman was Matthis Bolejack, her brother (B7). She received two hundred dollars from the estate of her brother Joseph Bolejack. The family may have moved to Ohio between 1812 and 1815 since Anna is listed as born in Ohio. The family had moved to Wayne Co., KY. by 1820. They appeared in the 1850 Wayne Co., KY. census in the Mill Springs Postal District. William died __ ___ 185_ (about 1850 or 1851) in Wayne Co., KY. Elizabeth died of "Old Age" on __ Aug 1856 in Wayne Co., KY. They were buried in Wayne Co., KY. They had four known children: A. Joseph Francis B. Samuel Francis C. Sarah Francis D. Anna Francis.
